This iconic shell jacket with its quilted liner lets your child enjoy the outdoors in any weather, all year round. This classic was first introduced in 2014, with the name ‘Taag’. Now it’s called Sydkap after the small Arctic town in Greenland, and it has been a top seller every year. We’ve lovingly adapted it over time, adding tiny touches of genius to make it more functional, more durable and more stylish.

The design has been inspired by the distinctive style of our 1970s kidswear. Big contrast-colour zippers and large patch pockets were all the rage back then, so we brought them back. But it’s not just its iconic design, which makes it so well-loved, it’s also small details such as the soft rib on hood edge and cuffs, which many kids find super comfortable. The shell jacket is breathable and waterproof, also at the seams, meaning your child won’t need a separate raincoat. With all this versatility, we’re confident that kids will be enjoying Sydkap for countless years to come.

Wash separately inside out. Close zippers and velcro tapes. Do not use detergents with bleaching agents. Do not use fabric softener. Remove the garment after finished washing program to avoid color change. Dry in room temperature, 40°C.
